 Vacabulary:

 aftermath: result from a war or other bad event.
 prominent: very well-known and important.
 threat: menace.
 maintain: continue to have.
 grant: a sum of moeny given especially by the government to a person or organization for a special purpose.
 denounce: condemn or accuse someone publicly.
 promote: encourage.
 lobby: pressure group.
 spontaneous: happening or done in a natural, often sudden way, without any planning or without being forced.
 wounded: injured.
 mandate: authority.
 impartial: neutral.
 supranational: involving more than on country; having power or authority which is greater than that of single countries. 
 count on: be confident that you can depend on someone.
 goodwill: friendly and helpful feelings.
 resolve: solve.
 emblem: a picture of an object which is used to represent a particulat person, group or idea.
 leading: very important or most important.
 deliver: give.
 uphold: defend or keep a principle or law, or to state that a decision which has already been made, especially a legal one, is correct.
 endeavour: try to do something.
 hold someone or something responsible: believe or make someone or something take responsibility.
 lobby: try to persuade a politician, the government or an official group that a particular thing should  or should not happen, or that a law should be changed.
 entirely: completely.
 devastating: very harmful.
 bribe: try to make someone do something for you by giving them money, presents or something else that they want. Noun: bribery.
 implement: put a plan or system into operation.
 non-partisan: independent; neutral.
 leaflet: brochure.
